Coconut Mamaki Balm - Original
An all-over skin healing balm
A moisturizing skin salve made in Hawaii from organic coconut + olive oil and local beeswax, infused with our farm-grown mamaki (Hawaiian nettle) with essential oils of lavender, copaiba and frankincense. Can be used as a beard & hair styling balm and tattoo healing balm, too!
Purchasing this product helps the native Kamehameha Butterfly (pulelehua) who uses mamaki as its host plant.
The more māmaki we grow, the more habitat there is for the pulelehua to thrive. Traditionally used as a tea, māmaki is an endemic Hawaiian stingless nettle that we grow and infuse in the balm for its clean, skin-soothing properties.
How to Use:
There are so many ways to use this balm, but here are some of our suggestions:
Face: Dab a small amount on chapped lips, wrinkles, blemishes, etc. Facial routine: Massage into whole face in circular motion. For puffy eyes, keep in fridge and apply cold.
Body: Start with a pea-sized amount and use for moisturizing dry skin, soothing after sun exposure, or as after shave, including sensitive areas. Can be used for eczema-prone skin, for cuts/wounds, and to smooth skin imperfections.
Hair: Use for dry tips, calm frizzy hair or to add shine. Can also be used for scalp massage for healthy scalp and hair.
Tattoo / Microblading: Apply consistently until healed to prevent drying, especially after anytime the tattooed area gets wet (pat dry then apply).
